After every session with Ali, I’m more clear about the steps I need to take to progress with my work; what’s critical and what’s not etc. She asks the right questions to highlight the hindrances and their root causes, so I can plan exactly not just what needs to be done but also notice why they were not done in the first place. With such clarity and insight, I’ve become more organised and confident.

You are very good at not saying much, but getting me from the point where I think I can't see an answer to finding something and that is really useful.

I highly recommend Alison. She tutored my son of 10 and now my daughter of 8. She is punctual, professional and generous. Alison is passionate and dedicated teacher, able to connect and build relationships with the pupils she works with, taking my son one step further in a safe way, filling the gaps, preparing every lesson in detail. My son has been tutored by Alison for a few months now. The objectives were to increase his confidence and try and get his passion for English back. I have definitely come away feeling more positive about the future. Each step showed me more about who I am. I enjoyed the parts on values, strengths and well being. I had an A-Ha moment on Values when I found my 5 values were not as out of sync with my life as I thought. I think the step by step approach looking at different areas was good and I liked the timing of Ali's emails. The analysis of yourself throughout was good - each week building on the previous to give you a picture of yourself. Most of us were stuck on direction so being clear on values, strengths and relationships is great guidance we can use.

These are tools I will carry with me in my everyday life trying to make my life as purposeful as possible. The communication was just right and the WhatsApp messages gave it a very personal touch. I have thoroughly enjoyed my course, I have learned a lot about myself and I have gained many tools I can use to make sure my time abroad will be as meaningful and purposeful as possible.

The pre-work was thought provoking and allowed me time to invest in my own situation. The face to face sessions allowed me to discuss with others and learn from their experiences. The material and group discussions allowed me to go deeper into my situation and come up with new findings.

The 360 degree approach supported me on my learning journey - identifying where areas for development lie but also highlighting how all such areas interact and frequently complement each other.

The well-being module helped me identify activities that could be acted upon straight away to improve physical and mental health. Thank you for a useful and enlightening experience.

Thank you so much for the training, it has helped me to be more engaging with the students in terms of differentiating their learning process and to think of activities and collaborative ideas to include all types of students. It was very helpful to learn about different theories, which have helped me understand myself as well as the students.
