School Leaders
– How Can I Help?
I am an experienced teacher and educational leader, having taught for more than two decades in state, prep, and international schools.
I have held five leadership positions in four schools. I have led development projects that have involved collaboration within schools, with the extended school community and between schools.
In the classroom, I am passionate about embedding wellbeing and soft skills, and empowering children to take ownership of their own learning.
Since my first year of teaching, I have been a teacher trainer and CPD lead. Coaching was a natural progression.
I stepped back from classroom teaching in 2018 to start my own consultancy with a focus on curriculum innovation, teacher and school leader training and development, and community engagement.
Parents
– How Can I Help?
Caring for young people is arguably the most important job we will ever do, and yet comes with the least training. Being a parent or carer doesn’t always mean that you instinctively know what to do.
Parenting can be particularly challenging during times of change for you or your child/children, whether that be a new school year, exam stress or school and country moves..
Parents usually put their children first. I am passionate about enabling carers to maximise their impact and enjoyment in this vital role, in turn improving children’s resilience, independence and happiness. I understand the challenges that parents and carers face and I bring a wealth of experience from teaching and my own parenting journey.
I can help you build valuable skills to help manage relationships and facilitate harmony.
Consultancy helps you with change, challenge and growth.

What people say ...
Ali has the heart to truly transform education using elements such as empathy and immersion; a head for seizing opportunities and nurturing partnerships; and the hands to help make it all happen in a meaningful way. She’s a joy to work with and alongside.
It’s been a really successful scoping visit … a real insight into Myanmar, the education community and international schools.
Many thanks for your excellent work and insights.
Your concept is exactly what I am looking for, but I didn’t know how to put the ideas into words.
Ali is a dream colleague because Ali is so committed to teaching and learning … Ali really involves children in their learning.
I … commend Ali Chugg to you as an outstanding primary school teacher … Ali is an excellent curriculum thinker, and an inquiry-based teacher.
Ali has been with us just over 2 years and I challenge anyone to make more difference to a school in that short a time. The whole school culture and curriculum changed by her actions.
